    Check boxes and Option buttons

    Hi all, newbie here,

I have a list of 175 institutions that I need to create first a list of option buttons for, and then a list of check boxes for. Naturally I don't want to create all 350 boxes by hand! Nor do I want to have to type in the name of all 175 institutions twice, or preferably even once as I already have a list of the institutions in which I am interested in the Excel sheet in question. I am using Excel 2007. Can anyone help?

If there's any more info you need, please ask.

    Thanks,

Re: Check boxes and Option buttons

    Okie doke.

I am creating a deliverable that will allow my clients to select both a key comparator and their key competitors from a list of institutions. This will then feed into affecting the way that a conditionally formatted list of all of these institutions is presented. I could tell them to just type "1" into a box next to the institutions that they want and have functions do the rest, but that looks untidy and is harder to use for them. So, I want an option button list for them to choose the key comparator (usually themselves) from the list of institutions, and a check box list for them to choose their key competitors.

    Is that sufficient background?
