Data Validation in other worksheet

Hello bos ?? how i can look up data validation in other sheet ?

You can name list and point validation at that list, not cells directly...

Thank's bos, but i use office 2002 and 2003, and i mean i want get data list from other sheet wit using data validation. I klik formula and then i click others sheet or name list, it did not work.

Hi,

on you other sheet select the list you need for data validation. Then click

Insert - Name - Define

and give that list a name, for example MyRange

In your first sheet, click the cell where you want data validation. Then click Data - Validation. Select allow List, then in the source field type

=MyRange

and click OK. That will work for range names that are define in the same workbook.
