    Red face Time Addition

    I have two values 8.00 and 4.16 which are hours and min. I need to substract them but excel is couting them as number not time.

    Can you please let me know how will I get value as 3.44 and not as 3.84

    Assuming values were in say A1:A3, one way:

    =DOLLARFR(SUMPRODUCT(INT(A1:A3)+(MOD(A1:A3,1)/0.6)),60)

    One way:


    =TEXT(SUMPRODUCT(TIME(INT(A1:A3),MOD(A1:A3,1)*100,0)),"h.mm")
