    DSUM problem with matching criteria

    Hey all,

Quick problem. I know that DSUM matches criteria loosely (ie. it would include "A" and "ABC" if "A" was the criteria).

I have tried exact(A2, criteria) where A1 is the first cell in the database with data (A1 being the header) and criteria is the named field but it returns a #value error (if I don't worry about the exact matching and use the criteria range in the DSUM equation it all works fine).

Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong?

    Cheers,

    Shags
