Graphing real time data

Hi,

being relatively new with excel.

I am trying to graph data which i have imported from the web that i have set to update every 10 minutes. I am not sure how to go about this but the graph should display the imported data (with history) with respect to time.

Can anyone help?

sample work book can attract someone to look into the matter ... can you post a sample file ???

You would need to be more specific but I suspect the solution involves creating an append table in your workbook to store the data from each refresh.

How is the data refreshed? Do you trigger it or is it scheduled? Even simpler if you trigger it, all we need to do is write a routine to collect that set of data and append it to a table. Then you use the append table to generate the graph.

As suggested above, sample would be helpful.

I have attached an example of what im trying to achieve. Hopefully it works.

The example is the stock price of Google shares (i know a real time graph for this exists) which i have imported from a web query.

Is there any easy way to graph the price of the share which updates every 10 min with respect to time (dont know how to do this either)? What i am having difficulties with is the old share price is overided with the new share price. Im guessing i would have to store old share prices in another sheet or location so i have data to graph?

Does this make any sense?
