Data Validation List i:Drop Down List

First thanks to anyone for viewing/replying.

I have created a form (see pic below) I have a Data Validation List in Cell D21, and a VLOOKUP in Cell F/G21.

I would like the user to be able to choose a List in D21 and auto fill F/G21 OR choose a list in F/G21 and auto fill D21.

I have been unable to write an IF statement in the DV Source box.

The reason is if a user does not know the Route, and knows the common name it will auto fill other cells ... or vise-versa.

Hi,

typically, an Excell cell is either data input or a calculation. The solution you describe (as well as I understand it) can be done with formulas, but will create a circular reference. You might be better of with using VBA.

Also, posting a workbook is less effort than posting a screenshot of the workbook, but would be immensely more helpful than a screenshot!
