    Finding the earliest time

ok, im an excel noobie, when it comes to all the functions you can do, but im also stubborn and will ask for help as a last resort.... lol.

ok, ill give you a run down of the whole situation that brings me to where i am now with this workbook.

    here are my needs:
labor scheduler with cost analysis - done
staffing sheet with the data from the scheduler plugged in to fit each position and time

since the schedule varies i cannot use a constant such as just pasting what is entered into a certain cell to another spreadsheet using linking.

    reads like:

    employee day1 day2 day3 day4 day5 day 6 day7

in and out times included formated to am and pm times
i used (x1-int(x1))*24 to convert the times to integers and was using min() range to find the earliest time for the openers since opening times vary occasionally, and the constants using if(= such as prep and salad bar. this works great but i need the name beside the number as well is there anything i could throw in the equation to grab the corresponding cell to the number i finding.

    thanks in advance!!
