    Multiple Pivot Tables, Grouping Options

    Hi All,

I've got 3 pivot tables in one worksheet, and two of the tables uses the same fields but with different calculations for different time periods.

My problem is I cannot group one field of one table withouth affecting the other one. For example, I want to group by years for one, and month by the other.

How do I independently group the same field in two different tables?

    Thank You,

    Frank

    Hi Frank,

To be honest, I'm not sure it can be done if both PT's point to the same source. If you copied the source data to a new range, and pointed PT #2 to the new range I'm sure it would work, but it's not a great solution. I'll see if I can find out any more.
