Using graph to change a value

In Excel 2003, it is possible to reverse the normal flow and move a data point on a graph to change a value in the model; click on the graph line and then click on a point on the line and drag the line and the value changes.

Where the value is a formula, Excel 2003 moves to goal seek and the user defines which cell is to change.

None of this appears to work in Excel 2007, does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Nothing. The feature did not get built in to the new charting engine for xl2007

Check this list of other charting features deprecated.

    That is a pity.

    Thanks for letting me know.
