I need cell H2 to predict the sale trend based off the previous weeks percent of increase. I am doing something wrong. I know there is a simple fix. The formula does not have to be a linear prediction but whatever works best. Thank You in advance.

I think that your issue is bounded up with that u didn't show new x for TREND() function, and it should has been entered as array formula, e.g. with ctrl+shift+enter.
Take a look at this book. Here I have used three similar functions: FORECAST, TREND, GROWTH
