    In C2

    =MOD(B2-A2,1)

    format as h:mm and copy down

    =IF(B2<A2,(B2-A2+1)*24,(B2-A2)*24) wil' give hours worked in decimal format e.g 9.5 (which is 9:30)
    ah the old mod function i'm slipping badly today
    but fyi you have to multiply by 24 if you want to calc overtime or such
    =MOD(B2-A2,1)*24 gives same answer as above but is a tad shorter
