Column and Row Headers reversed

I have just installed the MS Office 2007, and when i opened the MS Excel, in the cell names the alphabets are running from right to left and the bar containing the numbers is appearing on the right side of the window can anyone help me to shift it back to the conventional way, i.e. alphabets from left to right and the bar for number to the left of screen.

Please don't bump your post after 25 minutes, mazharsz.

Right click on the Quick Access toolbar (the one with the Save, Redo, Undo, etc icons, next to the Office Button.

Select Customize Quick Access Toolbar.

Select All Commands from the left drop down menu

Select Right-to-left document

Click Add between the two lists

Click Ok..

Now there should be a new icon in the quick access toolbar for the Right-to-left Document. Click it to correct your worksheet.

thanks, it has been rectified......but i need to repeat it each time i open the ms excel, can it be changed permanently?

Not sure, maybe it's in your regional settings or the way you answered some questions during installation?

Go to Your PC control Panel and check Regional Setting.. try changing to English...

Not sure if you have to restart the PC ?
