purchase order list & order number generator

Not quite sure i'm going to be able to explain this right but i'll try anyway,
I am trying to create a spreadsheet for a small company where I work, basically I have three sheets, sheet one is where the user will enter the order details, sheet two is a list of all the orders and sheet three is the list where all the details for the prefix parts of the order number are held and used in data validation lists in sheet one for the user to select.
I want to know how to create a macro so that when all the details in sheet one are entered and the button is pressed all the details are entered at the bottom of the list in sheet two and then deleted from sheet one. Then the order number which will have been created then shows on sheet one.
If anyone can make any sense of what i'm trying to do and can help then please please let me know.
If it may help I can e-mail the document of what I have so far
    Thanks
    Patrick

Here's a simple macro just to spark your process.
Please Login or Register to view this content.
If you need specific help, you'll have to completely mockup your desired order sheet, your desired validation lists on sheet3 and your desired database layout on sheet2.

Then click GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to post up your workbook. We'll be able to offer more exacting help after that.
