help with formula to add student name to several worksheets

I need help coming up with a formula that would link the student names from one worksheet in a workbook to data associated with that student in several other worksheets in the same workbook. Also, if a new student name comes in--I need help coming up with a formula that would add the student name and ID to the first blank cell in the student column in each of the worksheets. Can someone please help me out?

You need to be more explicit about what you mean by linking student names. Upload your workbook and manually show the results you want.

As for adding a new student name and ID to the last available row, you can do this easily if your needs are not too great.

1. Make any cell in the current list of name active
2. Go to Data (top menu), click on Form. This will display a built-in Excel form
3. Click New, then enter your data and press enter

The only other option is to create a custom user form and develop some VBA code.
