Functions Help Bar

Hello,

When I am using excel at work, when I start a function in a field, this little screen pops up that tells me what information I need to input. For example, while I am typing in "=SUMIF(", a little screen will pop up and show "SUMIF(range,criteria,sum_range)". This really helps make it easier for me just to type in the formulas I need.

When I work at home, my Excel does not have these little screens pop up when I am typing the formula into my cell. How can I get this pop up at home? I received this version of excel to put on my home computer.

Tools|Options >> General tab... check Function Tooltips

The "General" tab doesnt have "Function Tooltips" as an option!

Is there a way to update it? I have excel 2000 btw.

I am not sure that is available in 2000... have to wait for someone with 2000 to verify.

U can also simply press Ctrl+Shift+A when u typing "=SUMIF("
