Excel 2007 : Date to Text

Hello Everyone

I am trying to find a formula that will turn a formatted date to return the text shown. For example; I have the date 01/06/2009 that is formatted as dddd to show as Monday. I need to turn this into Monday as text.

If A1 contains a date, the =TEXT(A1, "dddd") gives the day name. You can copy that and paste special > values to return the day name as text.
