    Conditional Formatting for Multiple Rows

    Hello again gang,

Today my problem is with Conditional Formatting. I have a spreadsheet of a couple hundred products, their sales over the last 18 months, and then each product's 18 month average monthly sales.

What I would like to do is format them so if any of the months' sales are below their respective average, that cell/month with be highlighted. Excel told me that I cannot do this for multiple rows at a time, and I don't want to go row by row for this many products.

Attached is a sample file of the first row.

select all the data containing monthly sales (B4:S#), assuming you are highlighting the first cell (B4), conditional format using formula =IF(B4<$T4,1,0).

    Morrigan,

What do I select from the drop down menu in Conditional Formatting, or is there another way to do CF?

I'm going to Format -> Conditional Formatting...

Format > Conditional Formatting is where you want to be. I don't understand your question.

No worries Morrigan, I found it. I just had to change "Cell Value Is" to "Formula Is."

Thank you so much for your speedy responses. I have never used CF using formulas before. Much appreciated.
