    Post Pivot Table Filter

Hi I'm doing an excel spreadsheet (2007) for my company which list the sales reps, the amount of sales they make a week and their commission. I want to do a pivot table which shows the top 5 sales reps which received the highest commissions. I can't seem to get this done. I tried using the filter tool but I can't find where to specify the top 5. Can anyone help?

    Re: Pivot Table Filter

You can filter out the top five by using the Auto Filter feature.

Apply the auto filter, then on the column with the sales or commissions click the filter button and choose Top 10. In the resulting dialog box adjust the number from 10 to 5.

    Re: Pivot Table Filter

    Based on 2007 Pivot:

Right click on the field containing the Sales Reps -> Filter -> Top10 -> change 10 to 5 -> based on Sum Commission

If you're still struggling post a demo file.
