    Calculating Percentiles based on known data

    Is there a function in Excel that would calculate the 85th & 90th percentiles based on the 50th & 75th percentiles.

    If you assume the data is exactly Gaussian, the 50th percentile is the mean, and the 75th (or any other) percentile can be used to calculate the deviation:
