    Calculating Weighted Average on Subtotals

I'm trying to calculate an average pay rate by client or specific position at a client. I have a spreadsheet that has about 3500 rows and there are about 24 columns.

The pay rates are in column T.

So I could have 3 pay rates at $10.00, 15 pay rates at $9.50, 38 pay rates at $12.17....etc. The amount of pay rates and the pay rates themselves will be different depending on how I filter the spreadsheet. Is there a formula that will enable me to figure this out?

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like you have very clear criteria to point a formula to your desired answer, so yes, there probably is a formula that will work for this, although with out an example, it is hard to tell which one.
