Spreadsheet Has Disappeared!

Not come across this before, but a spreadsheet I use regularly now appears to open, but does not appear, although it does show that I am in a particular cell.

When I exit excel it asks me if I want to save the worksheet, as normal.

I have closed all other worksheets and tried again, and rebooted the laptop.

Any help appreciated.

Hi thanks for that suggestion, I clicked unhide and it looked like it did it, and the windows boxes are all shown as per the spread sheets I can view, but I still cannot see it - any other ideas?

Thanks for all your help on here - I have just gone back into the spreadsheet and it is now working. Maybe the unhide I did only works when you go back into the spreadsheet?

My complete shreadsheet dissapired, no idea why. I was just working on it and when I was going to modify the size of a cell, it just disappeared. Here's the printscreen:

it may be of the screen, perhaps someone opened it in a dual monitor and saved it in the right hand screen or something like that. try ctrl+f7 then use arrow keys to see if you can find it

I know it's been several years, and I have no idea if anyone still posts here, but I have a similar problem. I was updating two Excel spreadsheets on Tuesday night, saved them and closed Excel. On Wednesday, I opened Excel and the spreadsheets had disappeared. They aren't hidden or in the recycle bin, and Cortana couldn't find either of them. Both are still listed when I open Excel under RECENT WORKBOOKS, but when I click on them, it says NOT FOUND. The rest of my spreadsheets are still in the same folder, but those two just seemed to have vanished. Any ideas?

I have just now 'returned' a 'disappeared' spreadsheet by going to View/New Window. Don't know why the sheet disappeared, nor why this fixed it.

I have the same problem. I was working on a spreadsheet - two were open at the same time.

I walked away for a few minutes...when i came back, the spreadsheets appeared to still be open but nothing was visible.

I cannot post an example of this because there is nothing to see...see below

Also, when I hit "full screen" the info on the sheet appears, minus the headings. When I hit the escape button, it goes back to "nothing."
