    Google Maps in Excel?

I want to place a Google Map in an Excel spread sheet... it doesn't need to have any controls, just an object window on the spread sheet that I can embed the HTML copied from Google Maps.

Can anybody give me some direction?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Not sure if this is the answer you're looking for, but can you use the link information Google provides? At the top of the map is a Link selection, which you can right-click and choose to copy the link address.

Insert a screen capture of the desired map and then right-click the object and choose "Hyperlink" and paste in the url of the map.

No, I actually want it to be live when connected to the web... not just an image/hyperlink.

Here's the HTML copied from My Maps...

    <iframe width="300" height="300" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;msa=0&amp;msid=107192255779177320635.00046fcafa1a71d8e903a&amp;safe=on&amp;ll=32.713355,-93.88916&amp;spn=5.544965,6.591797&amp;z=6&amp;output=embed"></iframe><br /><small>View <a href="http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;msa=0&amp;msid=107192255779177320635.00046fcafa1a71d8e903a&amp;safe=on&amp;ll=32.713355,-93.88916&amp;spn=5.544965,6.591797&amp;z=6&amp;source=embed" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">055 - Goodyear G3X</a> in a larger map</small>

Is there a way to have it display in Excel? That way when I add locations in "My Map" it's live in Excel (as long as you're connected to the internet)?

I tried that already... when I do a web query I only get the text from the "maps" page... it doesn't capture the Google Maps API.
    BTW, I appreciate the feedback.

Try using a web browser control on the worksheet.
You will need to use a little code to wrap the html in a file before loading.

Search forum for Marquee. As this uses a similar approach for scrolling text on a worksheet.

    Hello

Try http://ramblings.mcpher.com/Home/excelquirks/getmaps . You will find downloadable examples showing how to map and geo code directly out of excel
