Calculating Multiple Comparisons over Large Sample

I have a sample of aproxomatly 30,000 records, and I am working to do some data analysis on it.

I am comparing multiple fields using sumproduct(), but if I go above two criteria, the calculation time becomes incredibly long. Is there a faster way to preform these large comparisons, or am I stuck watching my Excel lag out for 5 min every time I recalculate the sheet?

    Thanks!

Maybe with Helper columns to do basic comparisons and then count/sum those results? Or maybe Pivot Tables?
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Re: Calculating Multiple Comparisons over Large Sample

Hey, thanks for the advice. I tried throwing together a pivot table for the information, but either I'm not using it right, or it cant display the information that I want.

The kinds of comparison's I'm trying to make are:

I have one field which is an age, anywhere from 15 to over 4000 days old for the particular item. I want to break this down into 30 day intervals, and display how many items are in each range. I then want to break it down even further, and say how many are in each range that meet a particular criteria.

Can a Pivot table do this?

Can you supply a sample workbook? Showing intended results.

Make sure confidential info is left out or replaced

Re: Calculating Multiple Comparisons over Large Sample

Unfortunatly I can not upload anything. I did however narow my criteria on the initial sample, and the functions run much faster when the sample size is reduced. Fortunatley for me, the reduction in sample size actualy increased my accracy. Turns out some stuff was being sampled that wasn't suppose to be...

    Thanks for the help!
