    Conditional Formatting - Data Bars

    Hello everyone,
I have a doubt regards to Excel 2007
In *Condition Formatting *if I choose DATA BARS
(that small bars in the cells that represent the number and compare the numbers in others cells...)

    my doubt is:
is it possible to configure the DATA BARS
to start from Right to Left (and not from Left to Right which is the default) ?*

I will try to explain the reason of this doubt:

In column B I have the variation of some values.
In column C I have the formula: =IF(B1<0;B1;"")
In column D I have the formula: =IF(B1>0;B1;"")

then I use the DATA BARS in column C and D
If the DATA BARS starts from Right to Left on column C
I would have a perfect view of my data, did you understand ?
(because in column C I have only negative numbers)

Now I have some negative bars starting from Left to Right in column C
and I have some positive bars starting from Left to Right in column D

It is ok. but I I would like to have the side bars starting from Right to Left in column C,
did you understand what I mean ?

This is why I am looking for this answer and, if possible for you,
    I would appreciate your reply.

    Thanks a lot
    I'm from Brazil.

Re: Conditional Formatting - Data Bars

You can not change the direction of the data bars.

Here is recent blog on databars in 2010 which illustrated the lack of control over the data bars.

Perhaps you could create the bars yourself using 2 columns and right/left align
