Autofilter

When using autofilter I would like to sort a column descending. I would like to sort the column as the following:

AAA
AA+
AA
AA-
A+
A
A-
BBB+
BBB
BBB-
BB+
BB
BB-
B+
B
B-
CCC

But excel mean that BBB + for example is greater than AA which is not true. Are there anyway I can make excel sort in way stated above?

If the question is unclear I can try to make a sheet that show the problem in more detail.

If you add those values as a custom list (via the Tools-Options dialog), you can then sort using that list to apply a custom order (Data-Sort, click Options... then specify your list as the first key sort order).

Tools-Options, select the Custom Lists tab, click in the 'Import list from cells' box and select the range containing your list, then click Import. Then follow the steps I outlined to set up the Sort.
