    Scheduling Query in Excel

I have two queries Say 'A' and 'B'. These two have been mapped to two different cell. Now my requirement is i need to schedule these two queries in such a way that when query 'A' runs 'B' will not run. and next time when 'B' runs 'A' will not ie both are mutually exclusive. Each query will run with a skip of one hour and they will never collide in time. How do i do such scheduling in excel. I am using Oracle database to fetch data. Any inputs will be appreciated

    Re: Scheduling Query in Excel

Have your macros put a flag of some sort in a cell and check its value. If A runs, it puts a value in AA1, perhaps. When B runs, the first thing it does is check if AA1 has that value, if so, it aborts. Perhaps it clears the value, too, up to you.

You get the idea. Give the macro something on the sheet somewhere to check

Could you please explain it a bit more or could you give a diagramatic representation of your idea?? Like i said i need to compare the values that mean i need to hold the previous values somwhere in the cell. Ho do you going to achieve it in macros??
