Find Unique cell then copy to other sheets

Hi everyone, i a need a macro or formula to do the following:

Look up a match on sheet1 from individual cells from sheet2, and if match copy and paste to sheet3, and i need this to be done for every cell in sheet2.

Sort of a CTRL-F type of deal but for about 3000 individual cells on sheet2. The sheet1 contains about 10 columms with about 10000 cells all together. so to do this individually its just not posible.

    Can any body help? thnx.

    ny_chris.

    ny_chris,

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

Please supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Scroll down and see "Manage Attachments".
    Have a great day,

Question Re: Find Unique cell then copy to other sheets

Here is an Example of what I like to do.

Take each individual cell from Missing Sheet under columm Missing Equipment and look them up on the Inventory Scan Sheet under all columms & rows, if Result is a match and they are found on any cell then copy and paste the found cells contents to the Result Sheet under columm Match and Found, if not found then copy paste the remaining not found cells contents from the Missing Sheet to the Result Sheet under columm Missing Not Found

!!!!!!!!!HOPE I AM MAKING SENCE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks a million.........

It does work, the only problem is that i have to copy all the cell into one colum to make it work, i was looking for something where the "if" and "ifcount" will find the entire book instead of just one columm.
