I want to have multiple filtering on my data, mainly display if it contains "blah blah", "something else", "something more", etc... I'd probably need to filter by 8 items in 2 different columns. Unfortunately, auto filter only seems to be able to do by 2 items. Not sure why that is. Any tips?

2 questions regarding advanced filter.
Is there a website that shows all excel formulas? For example, how would I say if Name row contains John.
Second question, this data is being pulled from a SharePoint list so it might not always be the same amount of rows. Would advanced filtering work even when I go to refresh/update data, or would I have to set it up all over again?

EDIT:
Ok so I got it working by using a different sheet as a criteria and *word* as contains. Now the only thing is when I click Refresh Data, it removes the filter. Any way to just kinda lock the filter in place?
