can't save colored rows...

I want to color my rows a certain way so I right click format and color each row then save. But when I reopen it the text content is saved but not the color. anyone know what Im doing wrong??

This is a text file opened in Excel? If so, realize that text files do not contain formatting (text file).

Save as a workbook.
