    Question Graphing Help

I know how to graph, but my current solution feels non-efficient...

For example, I have data sorted by date using 3 different columns....

    DATE NAME VALUE

    6/26/09 NAME1 5
    6/26/09 NAME2 10
    6/27/09 NAME3 6
    6/28/09 NAME1 7
    6/29/09 NAME1 3
    6/30/09 NAME3 4
    6/30/09 NAME2 2
That's just an example of how I have my data set up. I want to produce a simple line graph with the dates as the x-axis, the values as the y-axis and each line drawn according to each name.

But in order for me to do this, I have to make different data sets with each name. Going through and picking out each name and matchign the date and number myself in it's own separate table.

Is there any way I can keep it sorted the way it is and have a different line representing each name without having to make different tables for each name?

I hope I made it as clear as possible....
