Which cell did the function identify?

    My question is similar to

    http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...ell-value.html

However, what I want is the cell reference which meets the function. For example, if I have have 10 rows and cell a3 has the minimum value then I want a function that will tell me not what the minimum value is in a3 but that cell a3 is the cell that contains the minimum. Does such a function exist or is there a way to extract that information from the min() or max() function?

    Excel 2007

    Thank you.

I can think of a couple of things one could do if I were the designer such as
list first encountered or list all or give cell reference if there is one and a count if there are more than one.
