Formula HELPPP!

Hiya

Does anyone know how to place a standard formula into a box (say =0.125*?) the ? denoting a variable number that I wish to change? Is it possible to enter a formula like this into numerous boxes and simply enter the variable number into this box, and the cell will automatically calculate the formula?

Any help would me much appreciated!
