    Linking Workbook issue

I have a workbook that has 1 cell. It references another cell in another workbook on a share drive.

Multiple computers work fine. When you open the 1st workbook, it asks you to click Update. You do so and it refreshes that number.

One computer does not work fine. When you open the 1st workbook, it asks you to click Update. When you do so, it changes the value to Zero.
I click on the cell and the formula is still there and correct.

Odd thing..... If I open the 2nd workbook.....the 1st workbook finally updates that cell with the info from the 2nd workbook.

    Thoughts?

Check that the entire path to the shared drive is the same for both computers and that it matches exactly with your formula.(e.g. your formula might specify "F:\... whereas the drive is mapped as "G:\....). That's the only thing I can think of.

Thanks for the speedy response. I opened it on my computer and on the non-working one. I copied the formula and matched it with mine. It looks exactly the same. For some reason that PC is not updating the information.
