Conditional formatting based on date - not today's!
Hi, I would like to know how to put conditional formatting for a row based on a date in that row, at least so that alternating days are coloured alternating colours. There might be any number of rows for 1 date so I can't just use the =MOD(ROW(),2)=0 formula. Date is which is in column I, if that helps!
Maybe a solution could use even and odd alternating dates somehow? No idea! The only date/cf advice I've seen is for things based on today's date.
Re: Conditional formatting based on date - not today's!
=mod(<cell with the date in>,2)=0
=mod(<cell with the date in>,2)=1
Should do it. Dates are only numbers after all, today is 40,067.
