    Graphfic type on Excel

    http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/5508/semttulopv.jpg

I've been trying for some time to reproduce this type of graphic on Excel with no success. The only thing I know is that is a scatter plot, but that trendline and the %error lines are beyond my understanding. Would someone please show me how can I do it...

    Regards.

You'll need aditional columns for each line:

    Book1.xlsx

Thank you, that's a good idea. But if you notice the graphic I showed up there, the trendline and the "error lines" are well fit to the graphic.

You didn't post any data, you posted a picture. Zbor used random data and showed a trendline and the two additional (+/-25%) lines.

Yes, I showed a picture with a graphic in it. But what's your point?

You asked how to do something, Zbor showed you how. I guess I'm wondering what question remains unanswered.

But it wasn't showed exactly. In the picture, the trendline and the +-25% error lines adjust completely to the size of the graphic's square. I hope I've explained it right...

Nevertheless, my thanks again to Zbor, obviously.

It's not clear from picture: is +-25% static value or dynamic? Does all points need to be included between +- lines? 90%? 75% Does they need to be equal +-25% or can be different +20%, -30%?

There is lot of things that your explanation don't cover.

If you want to get what you need you need to explain as better as possible.

Also, better way is to upload excel workbook (without sensitive data) instead of picture. Now we need to guess what data's could be used and spend more time to do data then to provide solution from it. Someone will help you to get your answer - make sure you help him to come to answer easier

    Re: Graphfic type on Excel

You are right. But that was almost all the information I got too

95% of the points must be included between those 2 error lines. And 25% is not static, it can change depending on those 95%.

Thank you for your help once again.
