    Vlookup Bands

I am trying to do a vlookup. I have attached an example of what I am trying to accomplish.

Basically, I have a range of number like this:

    0-9 1
    10-19 2
    20-29 3
    30-39 4
    40-49 5

Instead of doing the vlookup up in one long column. I want to simply have it look up in the range of 0-9, etc and return the value.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks for any help.

    Re: Vlookup

Change the values in A such that they are the lower boundaries only, ie:

    0
    20
    40
    60
    80
    ...
    200
    300
    400
    500
    600
    Then
