    Not enough memory

    chyba IT nedostatecny pc.jpg

    Dear all,

I am facing a problem with un-sufficient capacity of excel itself. It says it can run only 32 K of filled cells. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/313275/en-us?fr=1
but I am using much more (or I do not even know how to count them).
I have a medium size excel (15 MB) where I put data from ERP - thousands of lines) and after refreshing pivots I got a monthly result of our company. I have a lot of separated pages with the same table in the maximum detail, where I hide most of lines by rolling lists ("+" on side). And now, when I click to show all, my excel colaps everytime with a bug enclosed.

Please, could you help me with some ideas, how to eliminate it? Where I can "count active cells" as described in microsoft link?
Does it matter if I have vlookup(A1;B:N;2;0) or vlookup(A1;B1:C20;2;0)?

    Thanks a lot. Petr

yes probably in the first it will look for a match in 10^6 plus cells.
