    Conditional formatting columns based on Date

    I have a Scheduling spreadsheet where I should a range of dates in the first row, and would like to have a corresponding column coloured based on todays date. Is this possible?

    Re: Conditional formatting columns based on Date

    So you want the whole column coloured if the date in row 1 is today's date?

    if yes, select the column (range), and go to Home tab, conditional Formatting, New Rule

    Select use formula to determine which cell to format...

    enter formula

    =A$1=Today()

    where A1 is left most cell in your date range.. and you have selected from column A onwards..

    Click Format and choose from Fill tab.
