    Red face Conditional Formula help

First off, I browsed through the forums but didn't really check in-depth, as I am at work. So if my question has been covered, I apologize sincerely.

I am trying to do a conditional formula, where I try to calculate the average processing time for an event. The catch is, there are several events, and some have to be excluded. The table includes all events as shown below:

    VS 275 W 24 14:24 15:10
    MA 58 N 5 02:21 03:13
    BW 44 W 18 17:02 18:10
    AJ 3477 W 6 19:20 22:00

What I'm trying to do is develop a formula for average processing time, where if the event is designated as N, it does not register in the results, as well as if the number following is less than 6, it also does not register. So the formula's results for the average processing time from the data above would be the average time between only VS 275 and BW 44, even though all the data in the table would be selected.

I am probably confusing the heck out of you, so if I am, please let me know.

There are probably better ways to do this, I am sure someone will come along with a much simpler and effective method but have you tried a DAVERAGE?

See the attached. That way you could tweak your criteria as required.
