Disappearing Zeros on a CSV file when closed.

I'm having a problem with CSV file transfer.

Long story short, I have to export data from sage, to a csv file and give it to another site who do not have access to our sage data.
When I do this, I then have to put it into a format that sage will understand, which is pretty straightforward, however, nominal codes have 4 digits some of which start with a zero, and when transfer the file they disappear, which consumes my time.

    Any suggestions?

try formating cell 0000000 to whatever length your digit string is.
the might disapear if csv opened with excel but they should still be there if opened with notepad
