    transpose cell references

    hi all
i have a task i need to transpose the cell references (not just the values) i.e, A1 in K1, A2 in L1 and so on then i need to take the k2 cell and make it look at the 26th cell in the a column i'e k2 would show the figure in A26 and so on, this is easy to do down the page but doesn't let me automatically sequential the cells across, hope you can help

    Re: transpose cell references

    Try:

    =INDEX($A$1:$A$1000,25*(ROWS($A$1:A1)-1)+1)

Where A1000 would be the last cell in the range to reference...

    Then copy down.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
