    Conditional Formatting using Formula

I am trying to conditionally format some data in cells A3:A6 (shade the cells) depending on whether a number in B1 is 1 (green), 2 or 3 (blue), or 4 (red). Can someone please suggest how I go about doing this?

    Thanks

Invoke Conditional formatting from Format menu...

    Select

Cell Value is >> Equal to =1...format Green ... Ok

    Click Add

Cell Value is >> Between =2 and =3 ...format Blue ... Ok

    Click Add

Cell Value is >> Equal to =4 format Red ... Ok

    Ok
