Worksheet References in Formulas

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way to determine what worksheets are referenced in formulas within a particular worksheet.

Example, there exists sheet1-sheet10 and in sheet1 there are various formulas in different cells that take data from sheet 3, 4, and 7. I want a way to determine what sheets those are without having to scroll over every single cell and read the formula to see if it contains a referenced sheet. Assume the sheets could be named anything (i.e. not necessary "sheet3").

Application: I have received an excel file from someone with many sheets in it involving budgets, costs, etc., of which many link to each other and I just want to know what links to what.

Hi,

Probably the simplest way is just to click the 'Show Formulas' item in the Formula Auditing section of the Formulas tab.

Alternatively select all the cells by clicking in the row/column intersection and do a Find on the ! sheet character.
