Link data in cells to a search on a specific website

I work in marketing and have an Excel sheet that lists a large number of NYC based businesses.

I am trying to create a link through Excel to the web page "http://appsext8.dos.state.ny.us/corp...y_search_entry" that will also plug the individual business names that are listed on the worksheet into the search criteria.

I've experimented with hyperlinks and several formulas and had no luck. I'm starting to think it's not possible.

    Is this task possible?

Given the web page is form driven you will need VBA - I don't think formulae will suffice. Automating Web Forms from XL is not something I do myself but if you Google and/or search here along the lines of "VBA Automating Web Forms" you'll no doubt find a lot of examples.
