Racing Leader Board

Hi need a little help here.

Me and 13 friends have started a Karting champinship between us and im trying to make a leader board to keep track of winners. It will invole 10 races and the points system is the same as F1 so if you finish first you get 10 points and second 8 points.

I have a page with all the races and drivers on and i want to put what postion they all finish in this and on a other page i have the leaderboard how can i get the leaderboard to update with the right amount of points.

So if i finish second in race one ill put down 2 on the tracks page but need it to add 8 points onto my total.

Sorry no good at all at explaining myself.
