Need all columns to switch based on one column alphabetically

I have 4 columns in this workbook and I'd like to be able to sort a specific column alphabetically and have the contents of the rows switch with them. Does that make sense?

Everything in column A is an item that is unique, column B is the location of those items. I want to sort those items by location, so when I sort B alphabetically, I need A to still correspond.

    Any help is appreciated!

The key to sorting and retaining related data is to make sure all of the columns you want maintained are selected... so if you have related data in columns A, B, C and D, and you want to sort by column B, make sure ALL 4 columns are highlighted before you sort.

isn't that when you sort it ask if you want to expand the selection or continue with the current selection. did you tried expand the current selection when sorting? Or there is another you want?
