Hello Again
I currently have a very nice spreadsheet in Excel 2007 but is being offset by ugly command buttons to run macros. Is there more options in this version of excel to create your own with different colors, effects, etc?
Thanks,
- J

I assume you are using buttons from the Forms Toolbox.
You can use any shape from the drawing toolbox and assign a macro to it. These shapes can have color and effects applied to them.
If you are using a button from the Control Toolbox, then you cannot change it.

Do you know . . . ?
You can leave feedback and add to the reputation of all who contributed a helpful response to your solution by clicking the star icon located at the left in one of their post in this thread.
Right click on the command button, select properties.
You can format text, add a shadow, or even add a picture if you like
have you tried insert tab ,smart art?, or shapes you can assign macros to shapes clip art ect

That's great. One last piece of question instead of assigning text to this is there away to program it so that when you place your mouse over the picture/button a description pops up (I forget what the term is called)

you could insert a comment in cell/cells behind object which would pop up on hover
Unfortunately the position where it is at doesn't allow that and I rather not go down that avenue. Any other solutions?
well i think youd have to go back to boring old command buttons then
