    Training Tracker and Due Dates

    In an attempt to become more efficient, I am working on a training date tracker. What I am looking for is the cells to turn shades at the 10 month (yellow) and 11 month (red) mark. I have attached an example of the tracker.

    For Example: On Mike, his first aid was completed 12-1-2008. On Oct 1, 2009 I want the cell to shade yellow and Nov 1, 2009 it will turn red.

    If you have any questions, please let me know.

    Thanks for the assistance.

    Re: Training Tracker and Due Dates

    Use conditional formatting.

    1) Select the range B2:D7
    2) Put in a conditional format for Condition1with the formula of
    Formula Is: =AND(B2>0,DATE(YEAR(B2),MONTH(B2)+10,DAY(B2))>TODAY())
    ...and set the pattern color to yellow
    3) Put in a conditional format for Condition2with the formula of
    Formula Is: =AND(B2>0,DATE(YEAR(B2),MONTH(B2)+11,DAY(B2))>TODAY())
    ...and set the pattern color to red

    Angry Re: Training Tracker and Due Dates

    Ok, so what am I missing. In 2007 under conditional formatting, is it under create new/manage rule? I tried it this way and the formula is turning the current dates yellow and the over due ones are white. Not sure what I am missing on this one.
