Lookup nearest Value in one Column and Match the next Collumn

Hello, I am trying to put together a formula but need assistance...

I have two sheets - One Sheet has a list of Desk References and Equipment Information and the other Sheet has a list of Desk References and Telephone Numbers.

I would like the First Sheet to lookup the Desk Reference and Match the Nearest Telephone Number compared to the Desk Reference the Equipment is on.

I have attached an example workbook.

Any assistance will be most appreciated!!

Hi thanks but that didn't work sorry.

Example would be if I had kit on Desk 5 but telephone numbers on Desk 1, 4, 8, 10 then I would like Excel to show me the Telephone number on Desk 3.
