graph axis to keep it's number spacing

sorry about the title didnt know how to formulate :

i have those numbers for the x axis 0, 1,2 ,3 ,4 , 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5

the space on the graph between for example 1 and 2 is the same as between 4.1 and 4.2 which doent make the curve look right...

is there a way to make the graph look right other than putting empty lines between 1 and 2?

What kind of graph is it: line or scatter? It sounds to me like you have a line chart and what you want is a scatter plot.
